Not far from Mt. Ephraim there was a dinosaur discovery! The Hadrosaurus foulkii was discovered in Haddonfield in the 1800's and became a local legend and then was somewhat forgotten until the 1980's when a local boy decided to use the discovery site as a project for his Eagle Scout badge. This dinosaur has been "brought back to life" through web pages, museums and even has a statue in Haddonfield! The 7th grade technology students are working on a WebQuest project- using the Internet for guided research. They are working in teams to find out about various categories of information about the Hadrosaurus. They will combine these into a game format- Jeopardy! And then their games will be posted online for others to play! At the conclusion of the project a special assembly program is planned with a special guest- soon to be announced! Take a look at our project page here:

The discovery site in Haddonfield is a great place to take you family to visit. See the dinosaur statue on King's Highway and the site at the end of Maple Ave.
